Transition

The Easter holidays are just around the corner and once we're back we will be working really hard to get ready for our big move to Secondary School. We are taking part in an Enterprise project with the school we will be moving to. We are going to find out all about what happens in a Secondary School by having a look around for ourselves! We will also be interviewing teachers and pupils.

Space

We have been finding out all about Space for our topic this term. We know the order of the planets from the Sun and how big they all are. We have also been taking part in experiments about night and day, the seasons and we know about the summer and winter solstice.

We have been making lots of topic related artwork; we made paper mache planets and we now have our own Solar System in class, we have used pastels to make 3D planets and next week we have to bring in 'junk' in order to build our own rocket!
